Conscious Parenting — Education in the Netherlands, Epe
A panel meeting for Ukrainian parents about Dutch education, bilingual upbringing, family rights and communication with schools. Advance registration required.
About this event
How can Ukrainian parents navigate education and family life in the Netherlands? This Epe meeting, part of the Conscious Parenting project, brings four guest speakers together to discuss differences in upbringing, educational opportunities for children and families, and ways to understand and protect family rights in a new country.
Viktoria Crins will discuss raising bilingual children. Hanna Zhykhareva-Tolstik will introduce primary education, the VMBO, HAVO and VWO secondary-school pathways, and higher education. Tetiana Karnaukh will explain the role of social services in the Netherlands and offer practical guidance on protecting family rights. Nataliia Belinska will address bullying at school, teenage psychology and communication between parents and schools.
The meeting is aimed at Ukrainian parents who want to understand the systems around their children and make better-informed decisions about schooling and everyday family life. The announcement names Stichting Oekraïners van Roermond as the LinkedIn event host and also mentions Gemeente Epe, Miracle Lives Charity, Ukrainian House in Maastricht and Palianytsia Hub.
