Maryana Golovchenko and the international Women’s Voices choir present Ukrainian women’s songs at the Weergaloos Charlois neighbourhood festival. The choir grew out of workshops at Ukrainian House Rotterdam, bringing participants together through singing.
The programme draws on Ukrainian vocal traditions and songs about nature, hope, resilience and new beginnings. After the performance, Maryana invites the audience to join a short singing workshop. No previous singing experience is needed: visitors can listen first, then learn a song together.
The concert is on Sunday 27 September 2026, 15:00–15:40, at Karel de Stoutepark / Karel de Stouteplein in Rotterdam-Zuid. Admission is free; the announcement gives no booking requirement or separate doors time.
