Vlad & Veronika — Revelation — Helmond
Contemporary dance by Ukrainian duo Vlad & Veronika, with My Orpheus, Everglow and their talent-show highlight.
About this event
Revelation is a contemporary dance programme by Ukrainian artists Vladyslav Detiuchenko and Veronika Rakitina. Their work brings personal memories into movement, connecting the experience of leaving Ukraine with questions of love, identity and rebuilding a life. The duo became widely known in the Netherlands through Holland’s Got Talent 2025.
My Orpheus draws on the story of Orpheus and Eurydice and the work of Jean Cocteau, considering artistic creation and what people leave behind. Everglow turns to the first months of the war in Ukraine and is dedicated to people separated from their homes and loved ones. The programme also includes the dance associated with the duo’s talent-show breakthrough. Together these pieces offer an encounter with Ukrainian artists through contemporary choreography.
