SVITLO — Home within: support, trust and belonging

SVITLO invites Ukrainians in The Hague to “Home within: support, trust and belonging”, a practical group session for people who experience tension, uncertainty or difficulty feeling settled after moving. The meeting explores a sense of home through bodily awareness, rather than through a particular place, and is led by Kseniia, introduced by the organiser as a body-oriented therapist with the SVITLO project.

The programme includes grounding exercises and practices for finding support, self-regulation techniques for adjustment-related stress and anxiety, and ways of reconnecting with trust in yourself and your own resources. Participants will explore how safety and belonging are felt in the body, alongside restorative relaxation practices. The organiser also offers space to share experiences if participants wish; sharing is optional.

The session takes place on Sunday 8 November 2026 from 14:00 to 17:00 at Balanzs, Veenkade 22, 2513 EG The Hague. These are local Netherlands times. Participation is free. Reserve a place through the official event and registration page, which also provides a way to contact the organiser about practical questions.

The event is presented by SVITLO, a psychological-support initiative for Ukrainians. The announced programme focuses on practical exercises and mutual support; it does not promise a particular therapeutic outcome.
