A free afternoon of Ukrainian cooking, creative workshops, traditional clothing and live music at Buurtkamer De Kuyper, welcoming all ages.

Buurtkamer De Kuyper welcomes neighbours of all ages to an afternoon exploring Ukrainian and Dutch traditions through food, craft and music. Part of the Week van de Ontmoeting, the festival offers opportunities to meet people and take part in activities together.
The programme opens from 15:00 to 15:30. A cooking workshop from 15:30 to 16:30 introduces borscht and nalysnyky pancakes. Two creative workshops run from 16:00 to 17:00: try Petrykivka decorative painting, or make a motanka doll or decorate a Dutch tulip. From 17:45 to 18:00, the closing gathering includes tasting the prepared dishes and viewing participants’ creations.
Throughout the afternoon, visitors can see traditional Ukrainian clothing, use a photo area with decorations from both countries and hear music, including a live Ukrainian singer.
